• The Friendship Asylum:

  • The most important question of the story: Where is Gentaro’s soul? Answer: Limbo, where one’s soul must go through the perilous landscape over and over again for all eternity until the despair and hopelessness devours them up. Gentaro is at the point of going through the events close to 400 times—it’s been a little over a week since he’s been in Limbo according to “The Friendship Anomaly”—and is at the point that he’s close to fading away. Yikes…
    • The Cutie Mark Crusaders explain that Limbo is a “hopeless, desolate place” and that they can’t believe that it’s been only five to six days since they were gone. When asked how many times they’ve gone through Limbo, they answer, “A lot.”
    • Jeff Hardy also explains that the more Willow took control of his body, the harder it was to escape Limbo’s grasp, and was almost close to being eaten whole by Limbo during the Undead Uprising due to Jeff seeing his brother in a Heroic B.S.O.D..
  • Sora losing it throughout the story: from his Nightmare Sequence in Chapter 12, to laughing as he realized the Darkness Proxy essentially fooled him and then using the asylum to brainwash the Asylum Guards… Pretty much everything Sora goes through is not a pretty sight.
  • The sequence in which Jaune becomes an Asylum Guard is terrifying considering that dark vines mummify him until his personality and free will is wiped away and then he enters the asylum as if he was a zombie.
  • Sly Cooper is found by Dipper and Mabel and asks them to find his gang…then it’s revealed that the asylum had completed brainwashing Sly a while back and it was all a ruse. Not to mention that Sly has become completely addicted to the electric torture the asylum gave him, even begging Carmelita to shock him over and over while Carmelita is freaking out at Sly laughing in absolute glee.
  Sly: (laughing after a third or fourth shock) Yes…YES! (Smiles, his eyes glowing mad) Give me more Carmelita, I beg you!
  • And then there’s the way Sly is defeated: by having Axel throw one of his chakrams at him and then Sly is set on fire and is screaming in agony.
    • …Not that this helps out the other killings in the story: Jaune, Sora, Jason Brody and Link are impaled by their own weapons…Seth gets a Neck Snap… It pretty much sucks to be an asylum guard in this tale. Only Riku and Ash escape a Karmic Death, though Ash had to endue a powerful Thunderbolt to be purified.
  • Carmelita in Chapter 13 is running for her life as Wide Knowledge of the Late; Madness plays in the background, culminating with her finding a small shrine of dolls in the forms of the asylum guardians with button eyes, with the Sora one—dangling on a noose, mind you—singing the part where Miku goes “Watashi” over and over and OVER again before Carmelita lets out a scream and uses her shock pistol to destroy all the dolls in anger.
  • The scene after Jak is killed by a sniper goes back to the shrine with the dolls in the above post…and now there’s one of Jak with them with a hole in his chest. Brrr….
  • Kairi teleported via Compelling Voice to the asylum’s gates? Creepy. Kairi teleported via Compelling Voice and then being chased by a brainwashed Kaiba so he can kill her?! Terrifying.
